The Oregon Dyslexia-Related training is a requirement set for forth by the Oregon legislature in 2017. It requires a universal screening for risk factors of dyslexia in Kindergarten, and requires that at least one K-5 teacher in every K-5 school complete a dyslexia-related training. Every teacher must receive training in Three Pillars: Understanding and Recognizing Dyslexia Using Evidence-Based Practices to Systematically and Explicitly Teach the Foundational Skills in Reading Intensifying Instruction Meet the Needs of Students with Severe Reading Difficulties, Including Dyslexia Ashlock consulting is an approved provider of the Oregon Dyslexia-Related training in all three Pillars of Training.
